The course serves as an introduction to computer programming and interaction design for visual artists. We will begin by learning how to write code as a means to create visual artwork, using Processing. In addition, we will construct physical objects that augment the traditional methods of interacting with a computer. Topics relating to interactive installations, non-traditional interfaces, microcontrollers and algorithmic artwork will be explored in depth.
